Count actual pieces
Record unopened bags at home and the estimated remaining bags in the carried roll separately. A partly used roll is not a full pack.
Choose your own assumption
Use your observed consumption when entering a daily rate. Our stock tool leaves that rate blank and does not prescribe walk or elimination frequency.
Inspect before leaving
Check that the roll is present and the holder closes. A stock calculation cannot verify tear quality or guarantee that every bag in a roll is usable.
Keep home and carried stock apart
If an unopened pack contains 120 bags and a carried roll has an uncertain remainder, do not report 240 pieces simply because two containers are present. Count the known unopened quantity and mark the partial remainder as estimated or unknown. For a conservative order scenario, use the count you can verify. The tool will not inspect a roll or detect a missing refill on the leash.
Before you decide
- Count partial rolls separately
- Supply your own rate
- Inspect the carried kit
